Ni\u00e9pce inici\u00f3 sus investigaciones en este campo de forma tard\u00eda en 1816 a los 51 a\u00f1os. A este procedimiento lo bautiz\u00f3 como \u201cheliograf\u00eda\u201d, \u201cescritura de sol\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">Es en estas fechas cuando llega a los o\u00eddos de Daguerre las investigaciones de Ni\u00e9pce, similares a sus propias preocupaciones. Sue\u00f1a desde hace varios a\u00f1os con poder fijar las im\u00e1genes obtenidas con la c\u00e1mara oscura que utiliza durante la elaboraci\u00f3n de sus dioramas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">En 1827 establecieron un\u00a0contrato de colaboraci\u00f3n. En ese momento, la c\u00e1mara primitiva que llevaban a\u00f1os preparando ya estaba muy desarrollada.\u00a0Daguerre continu\u00f3 adelante con el proyecto, realizando en \u00e9l algunas mejoras, y, cuando lo consider\u00f3 terminado, en\u00a01837, le puso su nombre al aparato:\u00a0el daguerrotipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">Este es el primer procedimiento que comprende una etapa de revelado: Una placa de plata recubierta de una fina capa de ioduro de plata era expuesta en la c\u00e1mara oscura y luego sometida a la acci\u00f3n de vapores de mercurio que provocaban la aparici\u00f3n de la imagen latente invisible, formada en el curso de la exposici\u00f3n a la luz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">Este revelado consist\u00eda en una gran amplificaci\u00f3n del efecto de la luz, con lo cual el tiempo de exposici\u00f3n no pasaba de los 30 minutos. El fijado era obtenido por inmersi\u00f3n en agua, saturada de sales marinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure Nic\u00e9phore<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size has-custom-transform\" style=\"text-transform:initial\"><strong>1839 \u00bfEl a\u00f1o cero de la fotograf\u00eda?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">El 17 de enero de 1839, durante una sesi\u00f3n de la Academia de Ciencias de Par\u00eds, el astr\u00f3nomo y f\u00edsico Louis-Fran\u00e7ois Arago, gran figura de la ciencia francesa de la \u00e9poca y diputado republicano, present\u00f3 un nuevo procedimiento que permit\u00eda reproducir de forma mec\u00e1nica, sin intervenci\u00f3n manual, las im\u00e1genes que se forman en la c\u00e1mara oscura, una maquina de dibujar utilizada desde el siglo XVI por los artistas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">Seg\u00fan Arago, estas im\u00e1genes a pesar de su ausencia de color, se distinguen por ser de una prodigiosa agudeza de detalles, cosa que ning\u00fan dibujante sabr\u00eda igualar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">Este invento tuvo un efecto de sorpresa real enorme.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">El secreto de la fotograf\u00eda hab\u00eda estado guardado durante a\u00f1os, aunque ya en 1935 se hab\u00eda mencionado en la prensa parisina, pero despu\u00e9s de varios a\u00f1os un rumor referente al invento circul\u00f3 entre los c\u00edrculos art\u00edsticos y cient\u00edficos de la capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">Pero solo unos pocos allegados de Daguerre y determinados miembros de la Academia de las Ciencias hab\u00edan tenido el privilegio de ver las im\u00e1genes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" al gran p\u00fablico ya que era director del diorama desde hac\u00eda m\u00e1s de 15 a\u00f1os. Daguerre era un hombre de im\u00e1genes y un hombre p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">Pero Daguerre no fue el primero en so\u00f1ar con este procedimiento que permit\u00eda reproducir la realidad. Antes que \u00e9l, muchos otros lo intentaron sin \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">Los considerables avances realizados en el siglo precedente en los campos de la qu\u00edmica, de la f\u00edsica y de la \u00f3ptica, permitieron por fin que el sue\u00f1o se convirtiera en realidad en la primera mitad del siglo XIX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">Daguerre se centra en la precisi\u00f3n de la imagen, en lugar de en su multiplicidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-transform:initial\" class=\"has-custom-transform\">En 1837, su procedimiento est\u00e1 a punto: consiste en una placa de cobre recubierta de plata sensibilizada con vapores de yodo y expuesta en la c\u00e1mara oscura, y a continuaci\u00f3n, revelada con vapores de mercurio, lo que proporciona una imagen de gran agudeza en los detalles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow
